Getting Started

Having a visual representation of your Outcomes Pyramid for reference whenever you prepare a pitch is a great way to build your argument.

Early on, I made and photocopied a blank version of the pyramid and populated it.

Then, as I became more confident, I drew it up on a whiteboard or scribbled a layout on some graph paper.

I still do one of those things every time I have to organise, or present, my thoughts.

The pyramid below is here to support you as you get started. Download it, or scribble up a version for yourself.

Just make sure this structure is in your sights whenever you start to build an argument.

It will save you time, keep you focused and dramatically improve your content.

Use it enough and, if you're like me, it won’t just make you a better pitcher, it will make you a better thinker.
